I really like this blog. When I was growing up, whittling was common, and I'm glad someone is preserving it.I'm working on a videodocumentary which I hope Kentucky PBS will air. It's a non-profit effort and I have a minuscule budget. I would very much like to use this photo of the old gentleman in blue overall in the documentary because he is illustrative of part of the narrative. I would greatly appreciate it if you would be kind enough to give me permission to use it. If you are willing, please email me at ngcornett@aol.com. If anyone who reads this post is aware of old photos of whittling, or a group of old-time men sitting around talking in a general store, I would also appreciate an email telling me where I can find them. Thanks, Nina Cornett
